GDS Collab Kit

These two layouts were done with the December collab kit - so pretty and so much great stuff! I really liked Beckie's word art, but Kelli & Mandi both said it should have been titled "Let It Ice."

I've been sending desktops of Owen & Caden each month to the fam. There are lots of cute ones this month, but I needed one with a spot for two pictures. The boys will be together at Christmas, tho, so we can post a picture of the duo together for January! This one is courtesy of Natalie Malan.

Summer Breeze

This is the kit for my second ST 'assignment' and although it's really cute and I love Amy to death, it was a challenge for me with all boy pictures! I did learn something new though...see that circle ribbon? It was straight and I learned how to make it into a circle allbymyself (with the help of a tutorial :) of course).

Imagine my surprise when my named popped up on the chat room screen as a new Supreme! I tried last year and got cut in the final, and with this year's competition, I really didn't expect to win. But how happy am I! Looking forward to being on the team...there are an awesome group of ladies, and we are going to pump up our GDS designers!

Yes, I do have a spelling mistake (thanks, Dad!) and need to redo it, but my computer takes forever to save and I'm just not in that patient mood right now. :)

"Anticipation" was my entry for round 3 of the Supreme Team contest. I finished the cousins one, went to upload it, and suddenly it hit me that an ultrasound photo would look really great here. This LO is from Week 4 of Jessica Sprague's "Up & Running with Photoshop" class. The class ended weeks ago, but I just got caught up :) The great thing about this class is that the lessons are all video-based, and are available to us forever. I loved her teaching style, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next class.

Quest For A Little Organization

So I decided to start something new and see how this works out. I've been collecting so many great things from so many great sites, but I've saved to My Bookmarks, Bloglines, and Google Reader. I decided that I would just keep all those things at this blog, and linky back to them. I'll also upload all my finished pages here (from today forward...the rest are still in Picasa). I am well aware that the possibility of no one reading this blog is about, oh...100%. That's okay. Maybe someday some newbie scrapper will accidentally happen upon this little blog 'o mine and find it useful. So, I hereby declare this blog to hold Just Some of My Scrap.
